November 24, 2002 - October 12, 2008
I returned from training on Sunday late afternoon to find my boy, Tahgor, laying
dead next to my pond where he and his mother, Tianna were after a raccoon late Thursday evening. Both Tahgor and
Tianna were in the pond fighting a raccoon and both did eventually come out of the pond. I dried both off and the for
the rest of the weekend Tahgor was coughing/gagging and I thought possibly the coon bruised his throat. He was pretty
quiet (I thought depressed because I was gone Friday, dog races on Saturday and training most of the day Sunday) and more
quiet than normal. The cost for a pathologist necropsy was between $700 - $800. so I did not do this. My thoughts
are that he died of "dry drowning"; a delayed reaction to the water in his lungs since he had no major symptoms when I left
that morning.
He truly was a "gentleman"; trustworthy around all children, friendly to people
welcomed to my home; an excellent protector and a athletic boy who had a HUGE heart. He would do anything I asked of
him and do it with all he had......he will be missed.

We attended a UKC weightpull in Reno, Nevada August 16, 2008 and proud to say that Tahgor pulled 3440 pounds!!! I was
very proud of my boy and I think that this is the most a Presa has ever pulled.....I'll post pictures soon.
